Steps to reproduce:

Send a mail and get a reply from someone. On windows 10 home PC with latest version 115.5.1 (happens since version 115).

Actual results:

The reply shows up double in the list below the original mail. When you delete one of the two, one disappears, the other gets changed in an empty mail dated 1-1-1970.
See attached example.

Expected results:

Should only show up once.

Yes, it's still the same. I still get many replies double. Also Thunderbird hangs completely more than 10 times per day, on both our Windows 10-pc's.

Yes indeed, I see it does only appear in unified folders.

This will likely be fixed by bug 646168, which should be in beta soon. If it is possible for you, please try out Thunderbird Daily with a separate profile to test if the problem is fixed by that patch.
