User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 10; Mobile; rv:122.0) Gecko/122.0 Firefox/122.0
Firefox for Android
Steps to reproduce:
Use Firefox regularly over time, allowing Android to switch to dark mode automatically without the user manually pressing the dark mode button.
Actual results:
Firefox opened in a half dark mode state. Where the browser chrome is on dark mode but the website is light and the Android status bar is light with white text.
Expected results:
Firefox to correctly switch to the proper dark mode state by following Android dark mode preference.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Fenix::General' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Possible duplicate of bug 1873022 and bug 1871015.
I think these all have the same underlying cause but with a couple of different visible behaviors
- Fenix sometimes does not obey system dark/light theme
- Fenix dark/light theme is sometimes not internally consistent (status bar, toolbar & web content have different themes at the same time)
- Fenix status bar & Settings menu text/background sometimes incorrectly themed (eg dark text on dark background or light text on light background)
