timeout for opening folder upon hover is too short

Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Steps to reproduce:
OS is openSUSE 15.4; browser is Firefox 115.6.0esr
I drag a message or a subfolder from one folder into another. While dragging it, the mouse cursor hovers for milliseconds either on the target folder or on an adjacent folder (over which it is meant to pass).
Actual results:
The folder thus touched is expanded, which is unwanted and produces additional work for the user.
Expected results:
The folder in question should remain closed and only be expanded after a sensible delay which the user can adapt in the settings.
The bug is discussed extensively on
https://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3112164
The fix recommended there does not work on OpenSuse. A fix upstream would be welcomed by many users.

The timeout was changed from 500ms to 1s in bug 1863845 which shipped in 115.5.2. Which version of TB are you using?

With TB 115.7.0 on Windows 11, the problem does not appear. I will check again with OpenSuse and report.

In v. 115.9.0, the problem is gone on OpenSuse, too. Thus, resolved for me.
