- Latest Nightly 124.0a1 (2024-01-25)
Affected versions
- Latest Nightly 124.0a1 (2024-01-25)
Tested platforms
- Affected platforms: Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04
- Unaffected platforms: macOS 13.6
Preconditions
- Activate the feature by setting
browser.tabs.cardPreview.enabledastruein about:config
Steps to reproduce
- Open two websites in two different tabs (make sure you visit one with a short title to reproduce more easily eg: youtube)
- Hover the mouse cursor over the tab which is not in focus
- Move the cursor on that tab over the text (title of tab)/title icon/blank area/close button without changing the focus from it.
Expected result
- Preview remains visible while the cursor is on the same tab and moved all over it even on the close button I would say.
Actual result
- Preview disappears and reappears even though the cursor of the mouse has not left the same tab area.
Regression range
- Not a regression since this is reproducible on old Nightly build from 2024-01-13 where this feature officially landed.

:bmaris, if you think that's a regression, could you try to find a regression range using for example mozregression?
This looks like it was fixed by 1882099

Closing this as verified fixed as well since I did the same with bug 1882099 and these two are basically the same thing.
