Steps to reproduce:
I have three pop3 accounts with each their own inbox etc.
Thunderbird is set to display all messages unthreaded, but when it from time to time automatically compacts my folders, the message view is changed from Unthreaded to Threaded, and has to be changed back manually.
This behaviour began with Thunderbird 115. I am currently using Thunderbird 115.7.0
Actual results:
Upon automatical compacting of folders, the message view is changed from Unthreaded to Threaded.
Expected results:
The message view should not change, but remain set as it was before the automatic compacting of folders.

This is a dupe of bug 1725127. The fix has been in beta for a month now and should land in 115 soon.
