- Click on blank area of page.
Actual results:
Checkbox accidentally change the status.
And this instant apply without user confirmation.
Expected results:
Checkbox should not change the value unless clicking on the Checkbox and label.

The expected results match those of bug 1399883 so I'm going to dupe it there. I don't think the fundamental issue (clicking empty bits toggling prefs) would really be addressed either way by an "undo" option, if the argument is that people do it without realizing that they're toggling checkboxes.
"Undo" of a clicked checkbox is normally as simple as clicking the checkbox again. If there are cases where this is not so and where the current behaviour is much more annoying as a result (because reverting isn't as easy), it would be helpful to have a more specific indication of which checkboxes those would be.
