User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:123.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/123.0
Steps to reproduce:
Environment:
This issue is found in XUbuntu 23.10
My Account is set as IMAP protocol
- Open Thunderbird
- Select the IMAP online folder.
- Close thunderbird.
Actual results:
Thunderbird gives no response, and I cannot do any operations with it.
I can kill it with pkill thunderbird
anyway.
Expected results:
Thunder bird should exit, and close the window.
Sometimes even when the local folders are being selected, Thunderbird cannot exit properly.

Do you have empty trash on exit set for the account?
Is the account + network working properly before you quit?

Yes, I've set "Empty trash on exit".
And when I click [x] or Ctrl + Q, Thunderbird has no response what ever I do, like clicking buttons, selecting folders.

Is there a difference if you un-tick it?

keijack,

I'm using the latest beta, now is 125.0b5. It does not crash, but hangs and no response.

Keijack,
It's no longer happening for you with 126 beta, correct? That would make this a duplicate of bug 1891889.
