Found while playing around with the STR of bug 1875589 on an Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+).
Steps to reproduce
- Orient the tablet in landscape mode
- Load https://www.rottentomatoes.com/
- Request desktop site
- If the page is not already at the minimum zoom level (happens intermittently, bug 1875566), zoom out to the minimum level
- Tap a video in the "Something for everyone" section
- If the video rendering is clipped (bug 1875589), rotate the tablet to portrait orientation and back
Actual results
The video controls in the bottom bar (containing e.g. the play/pause button) are offscreen (below the bottom of the viewport). There is no obvious way to get to them or interact with them.
Expected results
The video controls are positioned on-screen, or come on-screen when you tap the video.

A workaround is to rotate the tablet to portrait mode, which resizes the video to a size where the bottom bar is now visible.
In portrait orientation, the sides of the video and sides of the bottom bar are offscreen, though this happens in Chrome too. However, you can tap above or below the video to close it and return to the main page contents.

Marking as S3 since a workaround exists, but this too seems like an annoying bug so will add it to the APZ diagnosis backlog.
