1889326 - outlook.office.com prompting to add mailto links on every refresh again

I recently installed a fresh new Firefox with a fresh profile and now I get the Add "outlook.office.com" as an application for links? banner again on every visit to https://outlook.office.com/

Latest Firefox Nightly.
My older profile on my old macbook however DOES NOT get that banner. Same Nightly version. So I'm not sure if there are other potential settings that influence this.

If it helps: getting the same behavior on Firefox release 124.0.1 on my main (existing) profile.

Yeah, I can reproduce this, too. I could also verify that it didn't happen when we removed it 5 months ago, so clearly something changed/regressed at their end. We'll just re-ship the intervention again and be done with that... :(

Why does the fix include twitter.com (x.com) in addition to outlook.com?

Because the patch is auto-generated based on our addon's upstream sources on GitHub, and apparently the xitter change didn't land before.
