Steps to reproduce:
Dragging and dropping a file that have been received as an attachment in an email into the compose can result in Thunderbird sending the wrong file
Actual results:
Sometimes when dragging and dropping an attachment from an received email to the compose window will sometimes result in Thunderbird sending the wrong file, despite it saying the correct file is attached. It is far from everytime it happens.
We have had no success in reproducing the error, but have seen it happen when others are attaching files received as attachments from other emails. Therefore we are unsure what causes this.
Expected results:
Thunderbird attaches the correct file when sending the email.

Also, we have just upgraded from version 102 to version 115. I have heard from coworkers that this used to happen sometimes on version 102 but stopped at some point, but the bug have returned in version 115.

This sounds like bug 1873023, but that has been fixed since 115.8.0.
What version were they using?

They were using 115.7.0. I'll try updating to a newer version and see if that fixes the problem.

Is this still happening with current versions of Thunderbird?
