Can you go to about:support, copy the raw data, then attach it here in this bug? You can use the "attach new file" button, then paste the content of your clipboard.
Also, how do you install Firefox on your system?

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
Just wanted to state that I have the same problem here with ff 126.0 (64-Bit) on Windows 11 since some days.
I uninstalled the German Language-Pack, closed ff, reinstalled it, closed ff again, but didn't fix it. Also "playing around" with switching languages back and forth didn't change it.
Moreover it is kind of unstable. Sometimes the menu bar is in English, then again in a next session it is German, but contextmenus are always in English - when selected language is German or also French. Menus seem to ignore the language preference.
The internal FF pages like about:preferences, about:addons etc are not affected and display in the langauge chosen. Its the menus that are affected.
I got same problem, and find the issue may come from the today's Language Pack update.
there are two comments related to this problem
https://addons.mozilla.org/zh-TW/firefox/addon/traditional-chinese-zh-tw-l/reviews/
https://addons.mozilla.org/zh-TW/firefox/addon/fran%C3%A7ais-language-pack/reviews/
also finished some test, find the Language Pack can work fine on FF 126.0.1, but FF 126.0 fail.
(FF 126.0, 126.0.1 installed with exe installer and FF 126.0 installed with msix installer are tested, OS i using is Win11)

Looks like language packs were updated 2 days ago
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/italiano-it-language-pack/versions/
I believe this is caused by the uplift of bug 1893022 to release to fix bug 1896864: these language packs are built for 126.0.1, which doesn't have the select-translations.ftl
file, so menus fall back to English.
Not sure if there is a solution, and the update to 126.0.1 should fix this.

Just to confirm, latest language packs (e.g. 126.0.20240526.221752
for French) installed on 126.0.1 work correctly. Switching language in Firefox 126 leads to menus not being localized.
The error in console is also misleading, as this file should be available in the language pack.
Missing resource in locale fr: browser/toolbarContextMenu.ftl

This is only affecting 126 (release). Language packs are not used in Nightly (with the Debian exception), but this is not a problem for 127-128 in any case.

Note: if you haven't installed Firefox through a package manager, you should be able to open the About dialog to trigger the search for updates. That will install 126.0.1 and solve the problem. We're still working on other ways to mitigate the problem for users on 126.0

release Uplift Approval Request
- User impact if declined: Langpack users of 126.0 continue to get a partial localization
- Code covered by automated testing: no
- Fix verified in Nightly: no
- Needs manual QE test: yes
- Steps to reproduce for manual QE testing: 1. Set the browser UI locale to a non-English one such as French or German, 2. Check that the installed langpack version has a version of at least 126.0.20240528, 3. Restart the browser, and check that the UI is completely localized, including the menus.
- Risk associated with taking this patch: Minimal
- Explanation of risk level: It's adding an FTL file with only comments that is only referenced in 126.0
- String changes made/needed: None, because the file is empty.
- Is Android affected?: no

For folks still impacted:
- Depending on how you installed Firefox: opening the About dialog to trigger the search for updates should find a new build (126.0.1) and fix the problem.
- Open
about:addons
and manually search for updates. This should update the language packs to a new version (126.0.20240528.144638
) (in the Languages tab) and that should fix the problem without a need to restart the browser.
If the language packs are installed globally by the distribution, the update might not be possible, so you'd need to wait for an update to 126.0.1 in the package manager. Technically, if that's the case, you shouldn't be affected (the language pack shouldn't have updated to version 126.0.20240526.221752
in the first place).

I have verified the fix on Windows 10, MacOS 14.4 and Ubuntu 22.04 using Firefox 126.0.1 (20240526221752) with fr/de language packs (version 126.0.20240528.144638
) the UI is properly localized, including the menu bar.
