Steps to reproduce:
Firefox updated to version 130.0a1 (Build #2016031823). I opened Firefox this morning, and now the tab button is at the bottom of the screen.
Actual results:
Firefox after update forced the tabs at the bottom of the screen when I had them at the top.
Expected results:
I used to have the tab button at the top of the screen next to the address bar. I changed some setting in the past that allowed this. This latest build forced the tabs to the bottom of the screen and I can no longer find the setting that puts them back. Is the setting gone?

Presumably from bug 1902798.

:mavduevskiy, since you are the author of the regressor, bug 1902798, could you take a look? Also, could you set the severity field?

Hi Aarjav, please confirm that this is the expected behaviour for the new address bar + navigation bar design. Thanks

I was able to go into secret settings and disable "Enable Navigation Toolbar". This returned the tabs to their original view at the top of the screen. The question now is, why was that setting enabled post upgrade? Why were my secret settings changed? Or is it expected that secret settings will not save post upgrades?

This is by design. The navigation bar will always be at the bottom, independent of the address bar's position.
