User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 14; Mobile; rv:130.0) Gecko/130.0 Firefox/130.0

Steps to reproduce:

  • Nightly has been updated.
  • In the browser, it was announced after the update that the address bar will be hidden while surfing to create more space.

Actual results:

The address bar is not hidden.

Expected results:

The address bar should behave in the same way as announced.

Bug 1907502 ("Address bar is displayed at the bottom although the top is selected") and Bug 1907504 ("The address bar should hide while surfing, but it doesn't") occurred at the same time.

Bar is hidden. However, this may not work reliably. I will continue to monitor this.

The phenomenon described has only occurred since the most recent change to the nightly menu. I therefore have doubts as to whether a ticket that was created before the changeover reflects this situation.

Check whether bug 1888827 completely covers the facts from this bug report.
