User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 14; Mobile; rv:130.0) Gecko/130.0 Firefox/130.0
Steps to reproduce:
Since 130.0a1 (Build #2016031919), hg-700a21b61aea+
GV: 130.0a1-20240711092457
AS: 130.20240709050338 the toolbar is hidden while surfing.
Actual results:
The browser behavior is changed without interaction with the user after the update.
Expected results:
The user should be able to decide for themselves whether they want this behavior or not. There is already a corresponding setting for this under "Customize". However, hiding is already activated by default. In my opinion, the default setting should be permanent display.
Alternatively, the user could also be asked explicitly via a dialog after installation which behavior is desired.

Hi Dan, to clarify, is this a similar issue with Bug 1907504. Or this is a feature request? Thanks

Bug 1907504 is a bug report.
However, this is a feature request. Please adjust the type accordingly. I probably lack the appropriate user rights. Many thanks for the attentive request. I apologize for my mistake.

Thanks for the feature request. Users can turn off the "Scroll to hide toolbar" setting, but we want to keep it enabled by default. This behavior matches other browsers that users will be familiar with. We already show users a lot of popups during new user onboarding, so we don't want to add another one at this time.
