User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/127.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 Edg/127.0.0.0

Steps to reproduce:

Open up mail folder, toggle Quick Filter bar on. Select filter messages by Sender, Recipients and Sender (not Body).

Actual results:

It takes 30 - 45 seconds to return a result during which time the Thunderbird window becomes unresponsive. I created a performance profile here: https://share.firefox.dev/467VNkx

This issue is also raised on reddit here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunderbird/comments/1e6hryp/quick_filter_is_super_slow_in_128/

Expected results:

In prior versions of Thunderbird even with a large mail folder the quickfilter would run very quickly.

Thanks laurence. Unfortunately something is corrupted in the profile. Please rerun, with Thunderbird in Help > Troubleshoot Mode.

Lots of jank https://share.firefox.dev/4d6wy4f in the flame graph.

98% of the time are spent in sort. What is the primary and secondary sort orders of the view? Looks like the effect observed in bug 1905786 comment #8.
