Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/126.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 AVG/126.0.0.0
Steps to reproduce:
Not sure if this is an old bug. Aug 6 2024 Thunderbird updated to the above. Opened Thunderbird today, 13 Aug 2024 and was asked for all email passwords. I see there are previous reports of this type of issue, which for me is a first time event. A solved problem unsolved by the update or something else ?
Actual results:
Determine manual entry is required & Save to Password Manager, when that option presented.
Expected results:
As normal, automatically connect & download emails.

How many accounts do you have?
And this happened to all accounts?
All different providers. Checked "Saved Passwords", "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords" box active, but all three gone as if by magic.

xref bug 1896287 and signon.management.page.os-auth.enabled enabled. That in combination with something else?

Hello Magnus,
I see you're asking if there are links to a previous bug and setting(s) and/or situation. Alas, my technical knowledge is not that to yours, more Mozilla for Dummies.

Are you using a primary password (for Thunderbird)?
