I can't reproduce on my Pixel 8, though I do see that space is a bit more constrained when I test in Firefox release vs. Firefox Nightly (the "chat bubble" icon is further from the "Continue" in current Nighlty vs. release, which is a signal that we've expanded the size of the viewport that we're using when the keyboard is up; and I can imagine the old more-constrained behavior may have led to overlapping-content on a screen of the appropriate dimensions).

As with bug 1911803 comment 1, I'm guessing bug 1884807 will have fixed this -- Calin, would you mind retesting and seeing if you can still repro in latest Nightly?

Depends on: 1884807
Flags: needinfo?(ctanase)

Works as expected, no longer reproduces on the latest Nightly (132.0a1-20240908090607).

Thanks! Let's call this diagnosed then, but leave it open until bug 1916002 lets this feature ride the trains to release.

Verified the issue and I could no longer reproduce it, based on the steps to reproduce.

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 132.0.2 (2016055415-🦎132.0.2-20241110192737🦎)/Firefox Nightly 134.0a1 (2016056767-🦎134.0a1-20241117211558🦎)
Operating System: Google Pixel 3 (Android 12) -1080 x 2160 pixels, 18:9 ratio (~443 ppi density)
Operating System: Oppo Find X5 (Android 13) - 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~402 ppi density)

Thanks for testing! Closing as fixed by bug 1884807 / bug 1916002.
