Steps to reproduce:
Select Cards View in the messages list.
Actual results:
There is only a Star toggle icon on the card. There is also a thread expansion, but no thread selection, as in Table View. Other icons from Table View can not be added to the cards. Some are available in the context menu.
Expected results:
Somewhere is settings, have a checkbox list of icons to display on cards. Maybe display common icons by default, like delete, spam maybe star. Adding Reply and Archive would put those functions in easy reach. Eliminating need to go to the context menu to perform these functions will improve the interface and interaction. Allowing any Table View icon will put more and useful functionality on the cards. Letting the user select which icons to display will reduce clutter.

This is covered in bug 1845398. The current plan is to not implement this.
