In addition to the existing feature to create a new, window/tab. There should be a feature for duplicating or "cloning" the current (active) window/tab, copying all of its contents including url, history (debatable), and form data (also debatable) from one to the other. In the case of tab browsing, the interface could involve a new button, or menu item in the right-click menu for the existing "open new tab" button. For both window and tabbed browsing, there should be a new menu option under file for "duplicate->window" or "duplicate->tab" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
there should be bo need for further spinoffs - bug 36269 bug 110535 bug 112372 already exists. Resolving as dup of the latter. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 112372 ***
