In Settings > Appearance select 'Grouped by Sort'
Click on 'Propagate threading and sorting settings to: All existing folders'.
All folders should be set 'Grouped by Sort' but they are set 'Unthreaded' instead.

Oh boy, this is weird.
The tests work and behave properly, and I remember vividly of this option working properly, but now it doesn't anymore.
Something is strange and I'll take care of it.
