Steps to reproduce

  1. Have passwords saved in Firefox for a website
  2. Access that website in a custom tab and ensure a custom color for the toolbar is used
  3. Access the login page of that website

Expected behavior

  • When interacting with the login form there should be no theme change
  • After navigating to another URL the passwords autocomplete prompt should dissappear

Actual behavior

  • When interacting with the login form the toolbar color changes to match the application theme
  • After navigating to another URL the passwords autocomplete prompt remains on the screen

Both, theme change and stuck password autocomplete popup, happen in Private browsing mode as well. See bug 1961747 and bug 1961750. Putting FF into background and bringing it back, or going to a different tab and back makes the problems go away.
