I made the following changes:

Then I got the magic screen which let me pick a new Version, Component and

I carelessly entered:

Then I woke up and realized that the Version was wrong.
I went back, selected

I got mid air:

mac classic is no longer supported

You have the following choices:

    *
This will cause all of the above changes to be overwritten, except for the
added comment(s).
    * Throw away my changes, and revisit bug 196866

I stopped playing with the bug and started complaining that something was
broken. At some point I revisited the bug and fixed the Version field.
Sounds to me like a failure of the code that traps the quit signals from
Apache... hitting the back button while the transaction was in progress caused
the process to get killed before all the queries had run.

This is probably best off as a duplicate of the bug requesting transaction
support unless we figure out what's wrong with the apache signal handling.
Severity: normal → major
OS: Windows 2000 → All
Hardware: PC → All
similar symptom in bug 147267

original QA: claudius@netscape.com
changed to : sairuh@netscape.com 2002-09-24 07:39:47 PST
current QA : bugzilla@iwaruna.com

but there is no activity log entry for the change to bugzilla@iwaruna.com

is this same problem, or different bug?

Dave, if blocked by bug 121069 doesn't make sense feel free to fix it up.

Depends on: bz-transactions
Transactions are now implemented. Marking as WFM. If you have a testcase where you can reproduce the bug on 3.2, reopen this bug.
