While looking at bug 195020, I found some HTML code that is shown differently in
Mozilla 1.2.1 and 1.3 versions.
I'm attaching a sample html file.

The file has open title tags, but no closing title tags.

With versions up to 1.2.1, the data after the first opening title tag was shown
in the title bar.

Since version 1.3, the data after the first title tag is shown nowhere. This
could be classified as dataloss, since the user will see less than contained in
the file.

Harish pointed me to CNavDTD::BuildNeglectedTarget which seems to state the
behaviour is intended. But maybe it were better to display the contents
somewhere, either in the title or in the body.

Look at this with both 1.2.x and 1.3 and look at the title bar.
bug 42945 was fixed on the trunk on 2003-01-03. Dup?
Related: bug 167315
Bug 42945 must be something different, since this problem is seen in builds
after 42945 has been fixed.

I agree that bug 167315 is related.

IE6 also looses data - it shows only 5 'x' characters.
