Firefox 143 Beta was released today, Aug 19, 2025 but the "Customize this article" version picker ends at Firefox version 142, also released today. Firefox 141 is still the default when viewing Firefox articles (e.g., https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-data-another-browser) in other browsers. We should add Firefox version 143 to the "Customize this article" version picker and set version 142 as the default.

This has still not been done. Kiki, can you or another SUMO staff member make this change?

This should be done asap. The Manage Enhanced Tracking Protection exceptions article needs an update for fx143 (bug 1987112). So does the Access AI chatbots in Firefox article (bug 1986747).

Firefox version 143 was added to the version picker but the version 142 needs to be set as the default, when viewing KB articles in other browsers (such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge). Right now version 141 is still the default. Kiki, can you or another staff member get that done?

Is it just me or does the "Customize this article" version picker now show Version 143 when viewing a KB article such as Access AI chatbots in Firefox using Firefox version 142 (Windows 11, en-US)? When I view the same article in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, the version picker shows Firefox Version 141. (edit) ...now shows Version 142 as the default

It's not just me ... Michele (michro) also reported this in the thread I started in the SUMO room on Matrix. Should a new bug be filed?

I tried editing the pending update to the Access AI chatbots in Firefox article to add {for fx143} tags around the new MIcrosoft Copilot entry but, when previewing my pending revision, I ran into a problem. It was impossible to view the revision by selecting Version 142 in the "Customize this article" version picker. The version picker kept switching back to Version 143.

Can you try again now?
