I got a blank page each time, using M11 browser on a Win NT(service pack 4.0)
system. The expected content of this page is that, the text wipes in and out.

This works in Navigator 4.7, but gives javascript error on IE 4.0

It also gives an error in IE 5.0

I have spent some time here trying to get a better understanding of what exactly
is wrong.

Possible issues:
script in the body tag
variable scoping

The author/reporter of this bug needs to submit (provide an attachment) a
reduced test case for just one of the issues. The complexity of this example
makes it too difficult to research further.
In an attempt to get my bug list in order again, marking all the bugs I have
currently as ASSIGNED.

Summary: Not showing DOM elements using javascript on M11 → [LAYER]Not showing DOM elements using javascript on M11
As much as the author has tried to remove layerisms from the tests, the scripts
use layer-specific JS methods and properties to perform the animations (none of
which work in Mozilla or IE). See the discussion on
netscape.public.mozilla.layout regarding layers support. The tests can be
modified to work in Mozilla and IE by modifying the "style" property of the
positioned elements. For example, elem.style.visibility = "visible" as opposed
to elem.visibility = "visible". Note that not all layer properties may translate
as well to CSS properties.
Emailed page owner with upgrade info.
Moving all [LAYER] bugs to Evangelism component for tracking and open-source
evangelism by mozilla community members of sites that need to upgrade to support
web standards such as HTML 4.0 (instead of LAYER/ILAYER) and the W3C DOM
(instead of Nav4 document.layers[] or IE document.all()). Sites should be
lobbied to do the upgrade using the email templates that are linked to from
http://www.mozilla.org/newlayout/bugathon.html#layerbugs . When a site's owner
has confirmed receipt of the message requesting an upgrade, the bug should be
marked with the keyword evangelized to indicate that evangelism for that bug is
complete. When the site finishes the upgrade and supports standards, the bug
should be closed.

Removing the evangwanted keyword from 49 evangilizm bugs that also
have the evangelized keyword. Having both of these keywords on a bug
makes it really hard to do a query for all open evangilizm bugs that are
evangwanted. Sorry for the spam.

Reporter, I cannot reach the site.. Has the site moved/been upgraded/something
else'd? Thanks.
After a short email discussion with a member of the imagicast.com team, I am
marking this wontfix. This page was designed for ns4 two years ago, and will
likely not be updated.
Thanks,
Fabian. (more work for you zach ;))
