User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 Build Identifier: Mozilla 1.4 RC2 After creating symlink to the java plugin, the browser won't start. Using j2sdk1.4.2. and the ns610 plugin. This only happens with 1.4 RC2. I removed mozilla and installed RC1 and the problem went away. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mozilla for linux Version 1.4 RC2 2. Create a soft link to the java plugin. 3. Try to start Mozilla Actual Results: I tried starting the browser from the desktop link that the installer provides. The icon flashed for 15 seconds and died. Expected Results: start

This is 209904. I re-installed and started from the shell and got the same exact message. Sorry for not finding the existing one first... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 209904 ***
