After changing the 'window configuration' in the options window, to either the
left one or the middle one, and then clicking 'OK', the status bar disappears
and will never show again until I switch to the right configuration (which is
not exactly my preference).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
NOTE that when resizing the window to a certain height (most of the screen's),
the status bar appears. So I guess that it doesn't /disappear/, it gets lost in
the window.
