In Mozilla Mail's Folder Pane, I can get a dropdown that lets me check columns
to display, namely the one that shows the total number of messages in a folder
(not just the unread messages). This functionality seems to be missing in
Thunderbird. Any chance it will come back? I liked seeing how many total
messages there were.

I know that this was in the builds until the April/May time frame when it
suddenly disappeared. Is this something that was intentionally taken out?
I'd be willing to try and put it back in if that is desireable.

One of reasons why I'm still using the Mozilla Mail client is the missing
ability to show the total number of messages in a folder on the "Folder Pane".
When it was intentionally taken out, can you tell us the reason?

When I was the bug-reporter I would classify the severity as "MINOR" in place of
"ENCHANTMENT" because the feature already was included in the Product. But now
it is missing, intentionally or not? I hope the bug-reporter will read this
comment and maybe act on my suggestion.

It is really a missing feature, the inability to see how many (un)read mails
there 're in a certain folder. I miss the overview of seeing how many (un)read
messages there're in other folders (because there're lots of messages filtered
from my inbox to other folders).
Thanx for adding the feature. It's always been in Mozilla Mail...
