CTRL+K is supposed to place the cursor/focus to the search bar, however, when
any other textfield has the focus (a text field on a page or the adress bar),
CTRL+K wont do it's work. Try pressing CTRL+L and CTRL+K in a row. It does clear
out the adress bar instead of changing. One could argue this is because of a
special text editing feature (like cut/replace/paste etc.) but neither is CTRL+L
and there's no other CTRL+K under edit.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to any site.
2.Press CTRL+L or click on a text field on that page (for instance google search
field).
3.Press CTRL+K. The cursor does not change it's position. The search bar won't
receive the focus.
Actual Results:
Nothing ;)
Expected Results:
Focus the search bar. It's a little inconvinient for the advanced user to click
into the bar or on some empty spot on the page to use CTRL+K again.

This works for me with the 20030830 build on Windows 2000.
Your build is already rather old (over one month) and a lot has happened since
then regarding firebird development. Please read
http://texturizer.net/firebird/bugs.html before reporting any bugs.
Please retest this with a current nightly build, a fresh profile and without any
additional themes or extensions. Thank you.

HIG says (chapter 10, keyboard navigation)
Additional Widget Navigation Shortcut Keys
The following emacs-style navigation shortcut keys are still available in GNOME
2.0 text entry fields (by selecting the "emacs" scheme in the GNOME Keyboard
Shortcuts preferences dialog), but are disabled by default. Since some users
will still want to use them, do not over-ride them for your own purposes in any
situations where a text entry control has focus.
