Saving messages manually to import them into Sunbird is painful. Being able to save a message automatically would help.
Better yet would be the ability to save a message to a file *and* then to run a script or program on that file.
Ditto. I could then send all my hourly reports (168 reports per week!) into text files, not simply into another part of the Tbird file 'system'. Because I run scripts on these to extract summarised info. Either that, or fix bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263949 which would allow me to do much the same thing.
