Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031128
Firebird/0.7+
1. Open the Bookmarks menu
2. Right-click on a bookmark to bring up the context menu
3. Click another bookmark
Expected:
Go to the site of the clicked bookmark.
Actual:
Dismisses bookmarks menu, doesn't go to that site.
Compare this behaviour to clicking on the viewport with a bookmark context menu
open. Clicking on the viewport processes the click (follows link, context menu,
whatever)

this is fallout from the hacky fix for 210910, it should be resolved whenever
that part of the XUL menus code gets rewritten that fixes that bug.

Only Peers can + or - a flag. This flag was already minused. Resetting as such,
this is the 7th flag this user has wrongly changed.

Is this the same root cause, or a different bug?
1. Open Extension Manager or Download Manager
2. Right-click any item in the rich listbox
3. Click something else in the Extension Manager / Download manager, like the
Clean Up button or the Close (X) button
The context menu dismisses, but the button that was clicked in step 3 does not
receive the click.
This is on Windows 2000, 20051005 Firefox branch nightly.

I have confirmed this is still a bug in Firefox 3.1. It would be nice to have this fixed as I am always doing bookmark management in the menu; rather than in the Organize Bookmarks window.
This bug is quite noticeable to the average user and if it is a small fix it would make a big difference imo.
Confirmed in build 20080504
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1a2pre) Gecko/2008080504 Minefield/3.1a2pre

On Firefox 12 the bug doesn't exists anymore. When executing the steps defined by Jason, the behavior is as expected: Firefox goes to the site of the clicked bookmark. So, I think this bug is RESOLVED. Can anyone change its status, please?

when you right click on a bookmark, and then immediately right click on another bookmark, it doesnt change focus to the new bookmark, it remains on the old one
