User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.4 (20031205) In the Account Settings window, when I click on "Remove Account" the account gets removed (I can see it being deleted in the main mail window). But an alert message appears proclaiming, "Failed to remove this account". There is no error, so I don't know why the Alert window appears. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an e-mail account. 2. When account is created, Remove it. 3. You should see error message. Actual Results: Alert message appeared. Expected Results: Either nothing or told me that the account was succesfully deleted.

I see this as well in Mozilla Suite on win2k (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20031221). Further, I think there is some prefs corruption because you can't add the same account information back in - it says that it already exists. Sounds like the delete is not removing all information for the given account. Shouldn't there be some kind of sanity check run after deleting an account to make sure there aren't any orphan settings of the old account information? Prefs corruption is a pretty important issue. How do you mark a bug that affects both Tbird and Suite?

> How do you mark a bug that affects both Tbird and Suite? In general, the Tbird bug is closed as a dup of the Suite bug. In this case, possibly dupe of bug 128744, and bug 173393 is related too.
