Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031029 Build Identifier: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.6b/mozilla-mac-MachO-1.6b.dmg.gz When I create bookmarks the next time mozilla is loaded, the bookmarks are lost. Alternatively, I will transfer a bookmarks.html file from a different user (i.e. a full set of bookmarks) when mozilla is loaded, the bookmarks are there, but restarting mozilla causes all the bookmarks to be lost. It appears to me that the saving of bookmarks is over-writing the bookmarks.html file with an empty set. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start mozilla 2. add a bookmark 3. quit mozilla 4. start mozilla 5. notice that your bookmark is missing Actual Results: notice that your bookmark is missing Expected Results: your bookmark is retained Mac OS X 10.1.5 may be similar to bug #220009
This does indeed look like bug 221843 (fixed today) or some of the dependencies (bug 223231, for instance).
mslemko, can you please try with a recent build and see if the problem persists? This worksforme with Mozilla 2003121805 on Mac OS 10.1.5.
This is really a dupe... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 221843 ***
