This works in any other browser I know (including Mozilla and Firebird). The test case shows a picture with highlighting areas when the cursor is moved over them (this is a JDK 1.1 applet). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open http://media4.obspm.fr/outils/cartographe/index.html 2. move the cursor over the image 3. Actual Results: nothing Expected Results: some areas are highlighted and a text appears at the bottom of the image

Target Milestone: --- → Camino1.0
Using the Java Embedding Plugin availbale trough sourceforge (http://javaplugin.sourceforge.net/) the webpage and the containing java applet behave the way it should. The image highlits areas when the moue hovers over them. So WFM using 20041130 NB on 10.3.6 with the java embedding plugin installed.
Depends on: 301076
Fixed by bundling the Java Embedding Plugin with Camino (nightly builds 20050729 and later), bug 301076.
