230773 - Unable to view messages as THREADED when a message 'view' is selected

When filtering email messages by "view" [ie. "View" >  "Messages" > "Last 5
Days"], the "Threaded" option is not displayed correctly. You are able to select
"Threaded" in the the "View" menu [a 'tick' is displayed beside the selected
option], yet the messages are not displayed in the threaded format.

In the main window, when left clicking on the "Threaded" column [to display by
thread], we have the same problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. PRECONDITION - A threaded email conversation in tha last 5 days
2. select "View" > "Messages" > "Last 5 Days"
3. select "View" > "Messages" > "Threaded"

Actual Results:  
email messages are not displayed in the threaded format

Expected Results:  
displayed the messages by the selected "View" AND display the filtered emails as
threaded messages.

bug occurs in default theme.

Rodney your build is really outdated. Try the latest nightly build to verify your
bug (ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/2004-01-13-trunk/).

Please report your result and if all works fine we can close this bug.

After rechecking i can confirm with Mozilla Thunderbird 0.5a (20040128) the
missed threaded view when special selection is used.

It may not be obvious this is a dupe, but it is: changing the setting under 
View|Messages is the same thing as changing the MailView dropdown.
