MSNBC page renders incorreclty on initial load, but using back/forward button
clears it up. Initially the right hand side ads/boxes of links are displayed on
top of each other, but if another page is visitied, or the back button is used,
then the page is returned to by the back or forward button the page is then
displayed properly.

dupe of bug 230531 ?
I believe this is resolved. I can not reproduce this in recent Mozilla trunk
builds on winxp. -> WFM

A gray box with a red heading and labeled NEWS, and I've circled, is shifted to
the right of where it should be.
It still doesn't work properly for me.

I've added an attachment and circled where a box is shifted to the right of
where it should be.

can you try a nightly build and report if it works better ?
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk
Still doesn't fully work properly with the nightly build (even on another computer).
Licinio, it appears you are using firefox 0.8. I have seen this issue as well in
the past but it appears that it was fixed after firefox 0.8 was released. Please
test with a more recent firefox build or mozilla trunk build and let us know if
you still see this issue. I would like to close this out if it doesn't exist in
recent builds.
I did today, see my previous comment, problem still exists.

Feel free to try http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ yourself.

I just tried it again, and it was fine, I refreshed the page and again the box
was shifter right. I refreshed the page and the box was shifted left, refeshing
it yet again, and the box was shifted right???

They could be doing something funny (MS IE specific) on the page.
I used to see this problem frequently however it had not been occuring
recently. I rebuilt on winxp this pm and it definitely is occuring again.

Verified. The testcase now wfm, but didn't in yesterday's build.
Sometimes, I get a very weird layout, though.

I see html code between the text, so I get the feeling that is some kind of
server issue.

Another (smaller) issue I saw here, I've filed as bug 277820. I think that's a
duplicate, though.
