Using http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midasdemo/ as a basis. 

Having inserted a table deleting it again is not easy. Basically you have to
create enough space around it to do a selection that includes the table in
question. Then pressing the Delete key removes the table.

This bug is still being reported by many end users of FCKeditor. People can't select tables, and therefore cannot delete, move or copy them.

This same 'bug' is affecting my wysiwyg-editor too. Deleting (and dragging & dropping) of tables is difficult or impossible.

There should be a way to have an edit-focus on the table separately from the cells. Also this edit-focus should be controllable from javascript.

definitely wrong since it is a problem happening almost daily and annoying every time
