It is still reproducing by Thunderbird created by 1.7BRANCH.
In AVIARY_1_0_20040515_BRANCH, since an error comes out by build, it cannot be
checking.(bug 245194)

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608

This still shows up in the latest Firefox and Tbird builds. Bug 204636 is open
on the Firefox side to address the Command+m issue.

Scott: In speaking with Sarah today, we are not sure whether this has ever worked.

no i don't think this ever worked for the aviary apps either.
Not sure if this helps, but from a little big of GoogleWhiffing:

 > Is there a Carbon window manager call to send a window to the dock, as if the
 > user had clicked the minimize button? I can't seem to find one.

The backend and the firefox frontend changes are ready on bug 204636, I'll add a
thundebird frontend patch after the backend patch is reviewed.

I'm spliting "Bring All to Front" to a separate toolkit bug.
Summary: [OSX] "Minimize Window", "Bring All to Front", and "Zoom Window" in the "Window" menu, cannot be chosen. → [OSX] "Minimize Window" and "Zoom Window" in the "Window" menu, cannot be chosen.

Minimization is effective even when all Windows are stored in Doc.
It becomes impossible in this case, to usually choose minimization.
