User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 0.7 (20040616) Reading NNTP newsgroups (but I think it does the same with mail folders). Have the options "View > Threads > Unread" and "View > Sort by > Threaded" selected. I hit Ctrl-Shift-C or select command Mark > All Read to mark all messages in the folder as read. There may have been threads that were collapsed; such threads are now not able to be expanded. Clicking the plus sign to expand such threads does not expand any other messages in that thread, even though they were there before marking them read. The plus/minus remains active in that you can click and change it, but no additional messages ever show up in that thread. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Given in Details above. 2. 3. Actual Results: Threads that were collapsed can no longer be expanded after doing "mark all read." Expected Results: Collapsed threads should still expand to show all the messages.

Eric, do you still see this problem? I don't see it - WFM in version 1.6a1 (20060215). (also don't see in suite bug 197506)
(In reply to comment #2) > Eric, do you still see this problem? > I don't see it - WFM in version 1.6a1 (20060215). It is still there in 1.5 - I don't have time to try to reproduce in a 1.6 build right now.
Version: unspecified → 1.5
I may have to recind at least part of my report - I just experienced on RSS: * view=unread * 4 messages in a single thread, thread not expanded * viewed top message and it went to read status * I did not use ctrl-shift-C was unable to expand the thread by clicking "+"
QA Contact: front-end
Update: this is still reproducible in 2.0.0.6
