Tested with a Linux trunk build from today.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select Tools|Subscribe to Remote Calendar...
2. Enter some calendar name
3. Subscribe to a non-existing remote calendar, e.g. http://www.mozilla.org/test.ics
4. Press Ok.

Result:
The new calendar is created and starts to download the given URL. The download
process is indicated by two small rotating arrows in the calendar list. The
arrows never stop rotating until you restart calendar.

Expected:
Stop this animation when the download/refresh process stops due to an error.
This is also appropriate for offline/online operations. I want my machine to
automatically sync when I'm online, but I dont want errors appearing or
continual icon spinning when I'm offline.
This bug is not necessarily Linux specific.
I have reproduced it on:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040805
Firefox/0.9.1+

The spinner continues spinning even after dismissing the error.

To clarify, this is using Sunbird on Mac OS X 10.3.5

Ok, setting Hardware/OS to All/All.

-> INVALID as the chasing arrows are no longer in the UI, (even though we ought to have some sort of "refresh-in-progress" feedback.)
