(Using keyboard only)
There is a problem with the Print Preview causing complete loss of browser
keyboard functionality.

Steps to Reproduce (may want to print these instructions):
** USE KEYBOARD ONLY **
1. wait for page to load (to avoid bug 226973)
2. File > Print Preview
3. Tab across to 'scale' dropdown
4. Use down (or up) arrow to activate dropdown menu.
5. Move a few places (not selecting "shrink to fit" or "custom...")
6. With the dropdown still showing/open hit ESC key
7. Try and use keyboard for operating Firefox.

Actual results:
Keyboard is un-usable. Seems like keys pressed are activating certain hotkey
combos???

Expected Results:
Leave 'Print Preview' with no problems and continue using Firefox with keyboard
as normal.

Experienced using:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040704
Firefox/0.9.0+
I can confirm this, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7)
Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1
Dropdown menu does not appear in Step 4 unless I use Alt-Down arrow or Alt-Up
arrow to display the dropdown menu.

Normally, when following reporter's directions, I can change the Scale without
showing the dropdown menu. After hitting Alt-Up arrow, and then moving to Step
5, I can reproduce the bug.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040706
Firefox/0.8.0+

(really tonight's nightly build, which follows the 0.9.1 release)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707
Firefox/0.9.0+

Confirmed
the keyboard is dead

Just had another look into this one (still happening).

It seems as though the keys that cause problems in step 7 are actually the
hotkeys for items in the "File" menu, i.e. Firefox thinks that the File menu is
active. e.g. N opens new window, T opens new tab, C closes window, etc.

Also, was thinking about what I had entered as the 'expected results', this
should probably actually say: "On hitting Esc, scale dropdown should collapse
and return to the value it was before user accessed it".
Does this happen on Linux as well?

The linux version doesn't have the "scale" option at all like the Windows one
does. So no the problem does not exist under Linux.
Using Firefox 1.0 here (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB;
rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041110 Firefox/1.0) and this no longer appears to be happening.

Can anyone using the latest nightly please confirm that this is now a WORKSFORME ?

Agreed, works fine on 1.0.

This is totally different in the trunk now.

The buttons are not tabbable at all, so you have to click in the dropdown to
select it. If you do press Escape, it closes the entire print preview window.

But, the keyboard is not rendered unusable at that point. Also, this works in
Firefox 1.0 as comment 7 and comment 8 point out. So, I'm closing this and will
open a new bug related to print preview not allowing tabbing through the buttons
and drop downs at the top.
