250701 - Annoying Update alert when it is already updated, Very annoying

About 3 mounths ago I downloaded Mozzila Firefox to enhance my Browsing
experience, (I've tried it before but i didn't like it at that time, but now i
fell in love when i tried it 3 mounths ago) I had a problem when i downloaded it
though. It would not display my belovied Davidbowie.com homepage. I figured out
that i needed to updated flash player. Then Today July, 9, 04, My David bowie
site would not display. So i checked in my settings and i checked for updates
and low and behold 0.9.2 Firefox update. So i went ahead and downloaded the file
and updated it. Unfortunately instead of updating it just installed another
version so in the Add/Remove programs, and in my Zonealarm Fire wall there was
two copies of mozilla. So i "uninstalled Mozilla 0.8.0.x (x= i don't know the
last number but i think the version was 0.8.0) And as i expected Mozilla 0.9.2
went along with it. (In between the time of updating and uninstalling i changed
the setting in the options--->Advance--->and I put a check mark in Automaticly
download and install updates to extension.) Now the current version of mozzila
(who suprisingly kept all my old settings) works fine but due to my
perfectionist type style i have one tiny problem. In the bottom right corner i
have a speach bubble saying i have an update availible for mozzila, But the
update they offer is the current one i have. Sure i could just uncheck that
check mark to never have to see it but i rather keep that setting. 
Why is mozzila offering the same Mozzila build?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.get build 0.8
2.update it to 0.9.2
3. put a check mark in  options--->Advance---> Automaticly download and install
updates to extension.
4.uninstall build 0.8
5.Reload the add/remove window
6.notice that mozzila 0.9.2 is gone and it won't start
7.Download the build again but don't delete your old files
8. and notice the annoying speech bubble offering an unnessary update.

Actual Results:  
The update that was availible for my mozzilla is still unnessary

Expected Results:  
NOt offer my an update on something i already have
