User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) Build Identifier: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) The Send button does nothing when composing new email or when replying/forwarding an existing one in Yahoo Mail. All other buttons work correctly. Bug seen on Firefox 0.9.2/Windows XP. This bug does not reproduce on Firefox/Linux. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open mail.yahoo.com 2. logon with yahoo id and password 3. click on 'Compose' 4. fill email form and click on Send Actual Results: nothing. no activity Expected Results: submit form
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) I saw this bug too, on Windows 2000 with Mozilla 1.7 w/recent security patch xpi. The bug seems to occur even if you try to get to the send function indirectly; i.e. saving as a draft first or going through spellcheck. I suspect it has something to do with the new auto-complete functionality. When clicking the "Send" button you get the following javascript error: Error: window.document.all has no properties Source File: http://us.f605.mail.yahoo.com/lib_web/autocomplete.js Line: 87 So that is probably the culprit. Could be an evang issue, but I'm at work so I'm unable to delve into it further right now.

I meant to say I am getting same error; the send button does not work in Firefox 0.9.2. I am on windows xp. But I also noticed the editing toolbar in yahoo mail does not work either. This may or may not be related to the "Send" bug. However I attached a screen shot of IE and what it is supposed to look like.
(In reply to comment #2) > Created an attachment (id=153607) > What the tool bar looks like in IE > The bug about this toolbar is bug 183863. Otherwise, this works for me using Firefox 0.9.2. I use Yahoo! Mail every day, and I didn't notice any problem so far. Reporter: check your cookie settings; also try creating a new profile, maybe this solves your problem.
I'm experiencing the same problem on Yahoo Mail using Mozilla 1.7.1 on Win XP Pro. The following buttons don't work after logging into Yahoo Mail: 1. "Delete", "Mark" or "Move" buttons in any mailbox view. 2. "Delete", "Reply" or "Forward" buttons in any message view. 3. "Send", "Save as a Draft", "Spell Check" and "Cancel" buttons in compose screen. 4. "Show" link beside "My Folders". There is totally no response when clicking the above listed buttons/links. I tried uninstalling & installing Mozilla 1.7.1 to no avail. I also rebooted after installing, to no avail. I didn't remember this happening in 1.7, so I uninstalled 1.7.1 and installed 1.7 - same result as above, to my surprise! All the above buttons work under IE 6. Can someone confirm if it's a Mozilla problem or Yahoo Mail's, or worse, something else?
Are you using a User Agent Switcher extension?

This bug report seems to be drifting amongst a few different Yahoo Mail problems. Picking one to dupe it against. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 265807 ***
