This means a left-click followed by a right-click is handled as double-click. This is a bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

(In reply to comment #0) > The folder-tree collapses! This means a left-click followed by a right-click is > handled as double-click. This is a bug. I can confirm this using Windows XP and 0.7 20040707. The left-right-click only registers as a double click on the tree view and not on other objects that respond to double clicks. In fact, the problem is more generic and appears in other places where the same software component appears to be in use. See the History sidebar in Firefox for another example. James
(In reply to comment #4) > See the > History sidebar in Firefox for another example. You are right. Such problems also exist in Firefox. So Product "Thunderbird" is incorrect for this bug. What "Product" has to be set for GUI-bugs like this, that exist on both, Thunderbird and Firefox? I don't like to submit a double for Firefox!
(In reply to comment #5) I have to revoke comment #5. For Firefox this problems seems to be fixed in recent nightlies. So this is a Thunderbird-only bug.

Given above comment, I believe this was fixed by the patch for bug 244692. That contained quite a few \toolkit changes. Please post if there's any more Thunderbird problems with this in nightlies.
