I have also replicated this problem in the nightly build released 24 July 2004. Example website: http://s3.invisionfree.com/Dutch_Warlords/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open website with Google advert e.g. http://s3.invisionfree.com/Dutch_Warlords/ 2. Place cursor near advert, middle click and start auto-scrolling. 3. Move cursor over advert. Actual Results: Screen bounces up and down. Expected Results: Scrolled smoothly on. Might be related to cursor icon changing to a hand as it passes over. For example, if you scroll over advert without moving cursor, icon remains the same and bug does not occur.
I will confirm this, but here the screen seems to bounce in all directions. It doesn't seem to matter where the auto-scroll marker is if I hover over the advert the jumpiness occurs. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040725 Firefox/0.9.1+
