No voting section shown

Voting section be available

This isn't a bug but a feature that is working correctly but doesn't do what
you'd like it to.  The notification box, as it says, correctly states the number
of 'new' messages and not the number of 'unread' messages. 

Displaying the number of 'unread' messages would not always be the most useful
thing to do. People often purposely have unread messages from mailing lists in
folders that might not be read for a few days if they are especially busy. That
would start to make the number of messages in the notification become hard to
interpret.

Anyhow, severity should be 'enhancement' not normal.
