256419 - Tools->Switch Profile doesn´t switch

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040817

Tools->Switch Profile opens the Profile Manager, and I can create a new profile,
but can select it, but it doesn´t start. When I restart Mozilla.exe
-ProfileManager, the Profilmanager comes up, with the old profile selected, the
new profile exists, can be selected and started from there.

JS console seems to show random errors, not reproducible:
Error: browser.popupUrls has no properties

I see this message too on 1.8a3 Linux i686 without switching profiles.

I deinstalled 1.8a3, including deleting the folders, and reinstalled it, and all
is working fine. This also solved Bug 256365 and Bug 256448.
