User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 It's impossible to know to which category any given extension belongs. In which category is <a href="http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=139&vid=447">Image Zoom</a>? This makes very difficult to find again an extension that some months ago I found interesting. I think that this is not a simple enhancement; is a real usability bug (specially combined with bug <a href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=247810">247810</a>). The process to find a known extension is severely broken. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. I find an extension that I like, for example Image Zoom. 2. Some weeks later, I install Firefox on a new machine. 3. I want to add that useful extension. I remember it was named something about "images". 4. There is not alphabetical index, nor a search box. 5. Was that extension under the "Navigation" category? or in "Miscellaneous"? Surely is not in "Appearance", is it? Actual Results: I couldn't find an extension that I know that exists, even if I know it's name. Expected Results: Show the category in which "Image zoom" is located.
Summary: An extension page should their category → An extension page should show the extension category
Usability bug or not, this is a feature request. Confirming :-) BTW, for future reference, bugzilla automatically makes links out of bug #s and URLs. So don't try to put in html. Just Bug 247810 :-)

This makes the moreinfo.php description at the top look something like this... "A simple, straightforward Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client. (Categories: Chat)" If there's more than 1, it'll be a comma seperated list.. Like this: (Categories: Appearance, Humor) This'll appear in update-beta soon. :-) Once I land my development changes.
