RSS is only one of the possible technologies behind Live Bookmarks. Should we
then mention Atom, too? Should we explain how certificates are based on
knowledge of p and q within a private key and p*q within a public key?
Creating a Live Bookmark within Manage Bookmarks will be covered in bug 260051.
Creating a live bookmark from a hyperlink is advanced behavior, and there's no
easy way to fix that within Firefox as is right now. If there were a way, it
would be documented, but it's extensionland for now. The status bar icon works
fine, and for many (most?) sites it works fine.
I'm very much inclined to make this WONTFIX, as parts are unnecessary and the
remaining part is already being covered elsewhere. Steffen, what do you think?

some big names, like :
NY Times - http://www.nytimes.com/
BBC - http://news.bbc.co.uk/
Reuters news agaence - http://www.reuters.co.uk/
only have <a> links
and the current method of copy and paste works perfectly well in Firefox.
An extra extension isn't needed for the use of this.

We need a whole document on bookmarks and live bookmarks. That's why I filed bug
