User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; de-DE; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041108 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: I use Thunderbird (german version, pop3 only) sharing the mail folders between Windows (2000 and 98SE) and Linux. The same folders are used upgrading from 0.7 - 0.8 - 0.9 -1.0RC to 1.0. After about 3 month of intensive, daily use with 6 accounts, I remarked that the loading of the inbox needed several minutes. and disturbed the automatical look for mails. The "look for mail" button didn't work any more, Ctrl-shift-t worked. Controlling the inbox file (only "inbox" without file extension) I remarked, that it had 72 MB. Opening this with a text editor I found nearly every mail I had moved to another folder or to the trash, even worm-mails I deleted a long time ago. Deleting these files the funktion of Thunderbird was OK. But the "inbox" file was refilled at once with my new mails. In the folder of the single account I found a second "inbox" file with similiar content. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use Thunderbird and move mails via right click to another folder. 2.Go to /mail/local folders/inbox, open it with a text editor. 3.You will find every mail you moved from inbox to another local folder. Actual Results: Since the "inbox" file achieved 72 MB, the looking for mail was disturbed because of the long loading time of the inbox. The "look for mail" button was out of order. Deleting the large inbox file reestablshed function at once. Expected Results: Move or delete mails properly out of the inbox withot to leave megabytes of trash. No themes. Only the mail folders are shared, no other parts of the profiles.
